Function:
The repeated arrangement of metering cylinder pairs is only moved with one drive. So all metering pistons are moved downwards simultaneously; therefore an accurate mixing proportion at each discharge unit and same quantities in each assembly is provided.
Each individual discharge unit can be activated by single valve control / “no piece – no fill“
Function Piston Metering Head in general:
The vacuum-sealed design and the fact that the metering cylinders are filled by pushing and not drawing result in bubble-free metering (the cylinders are only filled using the material feed pressure).
The piston diameter for the resin and hardener determines the mixing ratio, regardless of the temperature, air pressure or viscosity.
The dispensing material is expressed through an exactly simultaneous piston movement and thus guarantees a constant mixing ratio.
The resin and hardener are firstly combined in the static mixing tube. There is therefore no reaction of both components inside the metering unit and thus no cleaning and maintenance costs.
The sealing/washing fluid prevents the sealing elements becoming prematurely worn by picking up and rinse off the resin-filling-materials, which have adhered to the rear seal and cylinder side. Any damaging influences because of air moisture are prevented.
